Communication Expert Launches New Radio Show The Greater Voice on The VoiceAmerica Network
WASHINGTON, D.C.--Susan F. Benjamin, journalist, author and public speaker, announces a new radio show: The Greater Voice, airing Thursdays at 11:00 on the VoiceAmerica.com radio network. A Massachusetts native, Benjamin moved to the DC area to participate in a Clinton White House initiative on plain language. Her guests include such DC notables as Congressman Charles Rangel (D-NY) as well as activist Tom Hayden, NPR biotechnology reporter Moria Gunn, novelists, poets, and chefs - to name a few.
"On the show they give voice to everything from poetry to protest, science to sensuality," says Benjamin, formally co-host of the nationally syndicated Michael Dresser Show. "Their voices shape people's lives, open their minds, and amaze them. Regardless of the subject matter, I work to ensure my questions are informed and intelligent, although in no way leading."
Over the last year, Benjamin has also published five books, Quick and Painless Business Writing (Career Press, December 2006), Instant Marketing for Almost Free (Source Books, January 2007), Project Management for Top Performers (Source Books, September 2007), Answers for Managers (Source Books, December 2007) and Perfect Phrases for Difficult People at Work (McGraw Hill, September 2007) which is currently in its second printing and is being translated into Polish.
"My experience being a guest on other people's shows for my books, including CNN, convinced me that I wanted a radio show of my own," said Benjamin, a former college professor, "I've had so much experience as a speaker and trainer, the fit just seemed natural."
